Terminal Services & Railcar/Locomotive Repair

Our terminal services include the ownership of Landisville Railroad, and operations at Sayre, Carbondale, Columbia, Claremont, and West Lebanon transloading facilities. TRAC handles a wide range of commodities including lumber, frac sand, agricultural commodities, steel, rock salt, cement, scrap materials, and more. We are strategically placed at all sites in order to take advantage of the geographical requirements and needs of our customers.  Operating these transloading facilities provides TRAC with a first-hand experience in the importance of maintaining a yard’s efficiency and safety.

TRAC provides mobile and shop railcar & locomotive repair services to customers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. We dispatch mobile repair trucks from locations in Maryland and Pennsyl­vania to quickly respond to customer car repair needs. TRAC maintains fully trained and qualified railcar repairmen. Our shop facility, located in Landisville is AARM-1003 certified and all weld­ers are independently certified and lab tested.  We can repair all models of locomotives from EMD, GE, or ALCO.  Our locomotive repair services include heavy maintenance/rebuilds, underframe repair, preventative maintenance/inspections, and installation of auxiliary power systems.  TRAC provides 24/7 derailment and repair services.
